Color Key: Cannon Facts - Estimation - Speculation
Notes: The Federation equips all its starships with escape pods in case the ship is damaged beyond repair in a battle or emergency situations. The crew can use these pods to escape the ship before it is destroyed and be picked up by a rescue mission. Each class carries a variant of the escape pod, but generally the pods seat from one to twelve crew members. Escape pods are atmospheric capable and carry no armaments of defenses.
