Notes: The Scimitar is a unique vessel built by the Reman leader Shinzon and was first encountered in 2378. The Scimitar is clearly the most advance starship ever built in the Alpha Quadrant. The Scimitar was equipped with 52 disruptor cannons, 27 torpedo launchers, primary and secondary regenerative shields, and an advance cloaking system. The Scimitar could also fire while cloaked making it nearly impossible to target and destroy. The Scimitar was also equipped with a Thalaron radiation emitter that could destroy all life on a planet. The Scimitar was destroyed by the Federation Enterprise-E in 2378, after errors in judgment made by the Scimitar captain; no other ships of this class are known to exist.
